Responsibilities

• Performs the monitoring of refinery machinery equipment, under the general direction of the superior to ensure continued safe and reliable operation of equipment
• Investigates rotating equipment failures and checks compliance to established standards of practices and issues reports and recommends repair / corrective actions to equipment
• Development and custodian of Machinery Equipment Strategies for fixed equipment
• Analyze and troubleshoot rotating equipment failures, special corrosion or material problems, issue reports and recommendations for corrective actions
• Risk Assessment related to Machinery Equipment. Ensuring consistent RA application for safe operations
• Development of Machinery Annual Maintenance Plan and 5 Year Plan
• Machinery Reliability Performance Improvement: Analyze and report Machinery Reliability performance metrics/KPI
• Development of project deliverables for Machinery related projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or other relevant disciplines with CGPA >3.00
• Preferably 7 to 10 years’ experience in refinery industry
• Good interpersonal and people management skills for both lateral and upward interfaces in the company
• Must be willing to work in Petron Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan
