Job summary

A leading banking institution in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated sales professional to provide investment and wealth financial advisory services. The ideal candidate holds a degree and a Certified Financial Planner certification, with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in wealth products. Strong communication skills and a sales-oriented mindset are essential. This role involves preparing sales plans, fostering customer relationships, and reviewing investment portfolios.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in wealth and banca products with financial institutions.
  • Possess relevant licenses required for the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute sales plans for prospective customers.
  • Participate in sales activities/campaigns for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Provide investment & wealth financial advisory to customers.
  • Review customers’ investment portfolios.
  • Identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers.

  • Prepare and pro-actively execute sales plans for prospective customers from Bank’s leads (LMS) and self-generated leads
  • Actively participate and collaborate with other sales personnel at PBC/branch/region on sales activities/campaigns for customer acquisition and retention
  • Prepare and provide investment & wealth financial advisory and assistance to customers for their investment/wealth portfolio management
  • Periodic review of customers’ investment portfolio and increase AUM
  • Plan and identify cross selling/up selling to increase customers’ PHR and revenue
  • Set appointments, sales visitations, prospecting and engagement with customers
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster closer relationship and for referrals
  • Work closely with Centre Manager, Branch Manager and Regional Sales Heads on sales activities, promotion and campaigns
  • Prepare and monitor sales performance and competitors analysis to Management
  • Compliance to Bank’s policy, procedures and observe sales code of ethics

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder
  • Certified Financial Planner certification (CFP) with FIMM, PCE, CEILI and IPPC license.
  • Minimum 2 years of sale experience preferably in wealth and banca products with FIs
  • Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess relevant licenses required for the portfolio
  • Sales and results oriented
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skill
