Job description

Relationship Manager - Corporate / Commercial Banking

• Soliciting of business loaned to enhance the Bank's loan assets with optimal returns to the Bank.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to promote active utilisation rates and ensure optimal return for the Bank.
• Ensure credit portfolio of the department is of good and sound credit quality to minimise Non-Performing Loans.
• Cross sell the Bank's various products & services to existing and potential customers including but not limited to deposit products / credit facilities.
• Implement the delivery of sales strategies and targets.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers.
• Prepare marketing call report, pipeline report and any others that within the targeted timelines.
• Assist to manage appropriate continuing professional development (CPD) for the Relationship Managers of the branch, if any.
• Process data to produce accurate facts, figures and credit application (CA) with no major errors are to be noted in the CA.

Other Functions and Responsibilities

• Abide by the requirements of Bank Negara Malaysia and Bank of Thailand, especially the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act, 2001.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management Committee and/or Head of Business Banking.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least tertiary education qualifications in Accounting / Business Administration / Economics / Banking / any other related discipline.
• CCP/PCC Certification will be added advantage.
• Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in corporate / commercial credit with strong business acumen and credit analytical skills.
• Resourceful, assertive, independent and result oriented.
• Possess strong communication, marketing and negotiation skills.
