A global technology company in Kedah is seeking a Regional Total Rewards Sr Analyst for APAC to oversee and implement compensation and benefits programs. This role involves collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to analyze and manage total rewards strategies, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with local market needs. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources, Global Total Rewards. The regional Senior Total Rewards Analyst (APAC) supports the evaluation and administration of Total Rewards programs across the APAC region. This role provides analytical, operational, and consulting support for compensation and benefits programs across the region. This role is responsible for ensuring compensation and benefits practices are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our global strategy while meeting local market needs. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to provide insights, maintain processes, and support annual programs such as salary planning, incentive cycles, and market benchmarking.
Support the design, analysis, and administration of regional compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, sales incentives, and recognition programs.
Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, and market pricing using global and regional survey data.
Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
Support annual compensation cycles, including merit, and bonus plan administration.
Maintain compensation structures and pay ranges, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and regional market practices.
Participate in global surveys, submission, and purchases; monitor and evaluate benchmark data, pay structures, economic trends & projections and recommend changes as appropriate to maintain a competitive market position and internal equity.
Ensure full compliance with legal, union and works council related laws and rules by country.
Coordinate with HRIS the management of total rewards tools (Dayforce system), including identification of system enhancements, testing, and incentive and merit administration.
Assist in the administration and analysis of regional benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, well-being, and statutory offerings).
Partner with local HR and vendors to ensure plans are compliant and competitive.
Support benefit renewals, vendor evaluations, and annual enrollment activities.
Conduct data analysis to identify cost trends, risks, and opportunities for plan improvement.
Support job architecture activities, including job leveling, titling, and alignment of roles across the region.
Ensure consistent application of global job mapping and pay philosophy while incorporating local regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and manage updates to job families and role structures.
Develop and maintain Total Rewards dashboards, reports, and analytics for regional and global stakeholders.
Provide insights and recommendations using internal data, market trends, and benchmarking studies.
Ensure data accuracy for compensation and benefits-related systems and reporting.
Monitor regional regulatory changes affecting compensation and benefits; support development of compliant solutions.
Maintain internal controls and audit documentation related to Total Rewards programs.
Support implementation of global Total Rewards policies and practices in the region.
Participate in global and regional Total Rewards projects, including system enhancements, vendor transitions, and process improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the region during global program design and rollout.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with program management skills to carry though to implementation.
Proven Project management experience with deep attention to detail.
Knowledge of working in multiple international countries.
Experience working with unions and/or works councils.
Research and analytical skills to gather and interpret data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team across a global organization.
Computer skills to use spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail and HR software.
Extensive knowledge of laws related to compensation and benefits in the region countries.
Time management skills to adhere to deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience overseeing total rewards function in multiple APAC countries within the region.
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing total rewards strategies and programs in alignment with organizational objectives.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience administering global Total Rewards initiatives.
Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
