Regional Retail Operations Manager (Penang & Ipoh Region)

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Retail Operations Manager (Penang & Ipoh Region) to oversee outlet operations and ensure smooth performance across the Northern region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management
   • Oversee daily operations of outlets in Penang and Ipoh, ensuring compliance with SOPs and company standards.
   • Conduct regular outlet visits to assess service quality, hygiene, and staff performance.
   • Review outlet sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
   • Lead, train, and motivate outlet teams to achieve operational and sales targets.
   • Manage manpower, inventory, and cost control to maintain efficient outlet operations.
2. External Affairs & Compliance
   • Handle government and council‑related matters including license renewals and health inspections.
   • Coordinate applications for business licenses, permits, and renovations.
   • Liaise with landlords, suppliers, and contractors to support smooth outlet operations.
   • Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities and venue owners.
3. Business Development & Projects
   • Evaluate potential new sites and assist in lease discussions for outlet expansion.
   • Oversee renovation projects to ensure adherence to design, cost, and timeline requirements.
   • Manage pre‑opening preparations including manpower, equipment, and license arrangements.
   • Support marketing and promotional campaigns to strengthen brand visibility in the Northern region.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in F&B or retail multi‑outlet management.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English (Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and Public Holidays.
• Possess own transport and able to travel frequently between Penang and Ipoh.
• Experience in F&B chains or herbal health retail is an added advantage.
