A leading services firm is seeking a Regional Payroll Associate for a one-year contract in Petaling Jaya. The role involves managing payroll for multiple countries and requires a Bachelor's degree along with 2-5 years of payroll experience. The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team. The position offers a remuneration of up to RM7,000.

Qualifications

Regional Payroll Associate | One year contract

About the company:

Our client is leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation.

Job Description

You will be part of the Regional Payroll Function that provides centralized services to 16 countries. You will join the continuous improvement team to deliver payroll initiatives, reporting to the Payroll Team Lead.

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of in-house payroll administration, ensuring payroll result accuracy and timeliness, and audit risk free
  • Process in-house payroll using a payroll system for Singapore and Philippines, with possibility of rotation to other country processing.
  • Review payroll advice, perform and validate payroll calculations and reconciliations in compliance with the payroll calendar, company policies and income tax & statutory regulations
  • Meet service expectations on payroll accuracy and timeliness and achieve successful audits
  • Prepare and submit Payroll Reports, Statutory Reports, and Income Tax Reports
  • Participate in projects to drive work simplification, digitization, and automation
  • Manage stakeholders and employees; query handling, communication, and training

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelors Degree in Business/HR/Mathematics/Accounting
  • Preferred 2 - 5 years of payroll experience
  • An appetite to learn
  • Independent, meticulous, time-conscious and organized
  • Able to work in a team
  • Having experience to handle at least 1000+ headcounts
  • Having experience to handle multiple countries/run in a month is a plus.
  • Have used RAMCO system before is a plus.

Remuneration:

Up to RM7,000
