Regional Manager, Learning & Development
Objective
The Regional L&D Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of Learning & Development initiatives across ZUS COFFEE’s markets in Malaysia, Singapore, and the wider APAC region. This role will lead the Academy team to elevate talent development, accelerate leadership capability, and embed a high-performance, digital learning culture across the organization.
Position Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the ZUS Academy team across Malaysia & Singapore, while overseeing L&D alignment across APAC.
- Design and implement innovative L&D strategies that align with business objectives and regional growth needs.
- Launch and manage a Local Learning Partner (LLP) Network to scale learning across multiple locations.
Learning Experience Design
- Curate engaging learning content via a Learning Experience Platform (LXP), integrating gamification, microlearning, and social learning tools to boost engagement.
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of blended learning pathways (instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced).
- Oversee design and facilitation of Leadership Academies, Soft Skills Development Tracks, and Functional Training Programs.
- Lead the development and deployment of training programs to support regional teams.
- Strengthen the Regional Academy’s capability to scale frontliner and leadership development.
- Drive talent readiness for expansion through structured learning and performance tracking.
- Lead LMS transformation projects including API integrations, custom eLearning development, and data dashboarding for insights.
- Drive digital-first learning culture through automation of L&D admin tasks and adoption of modern learning tools.
- Achieve and sustain high adoption rates for digital learning (e.g., 80%+ eLearning completion rate).
- Champion the implementation of blended learning and digital enablement throughout ZUS Academy.
Data-Driven Impact & Optimization
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders using learning data insights to drive decision-making and ROI optimization.
- Continuously assess learning effectiveness and business impact through feedback loops and performance analysis.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in L&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional capacity.
- Proven success in driving digital learning transformation, LMS/LXP management, and leadership development programs.
- Experience in APAC or multi-country L&D leadership is preferred.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute and lead change.
- Strong instructional design and learning technology expertise.
- Data-driven, with ability to link L&D outcomes to business results.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy and well-versed in LMS, LXP, authoring tools, and automation platforms.
