Job summary

Air Liquide Business Services Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Investment Controller to provide reliable financial investment data and analysis to country and cluster management, as well as Air Liquide headquarters.

You will maintain a comprehensive view of investment opportunities, projects under execution, and future P&L contributions, while proactively managing investment envelopes and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of financial control, investment accounting or analytical experience, preferably within capital-intensive sectors.
• Proven knowledge of P&L up to Operating Income, CapEx and OpEx terms; hands-on Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive view of investments, projects under execution and future P&L contributions across the APAC cluster.
• Proactively manage investment budgets (CapEx envelopes) and related reporting; uphold governance and reporting.
• Track investment portfolios, CO2 variances, and project contributions for regular reporting to Group consolidation tools.
• Collaborate with CFO to forecast funding requirements on a needs basis.
• Optimize use of internal digital finance tools and support company-wide migration project.
• Lead end-to-end special investment processes with the Investments business partner role for the Business Development team.
• Prepare D&A forecasts/status reports with commentary and flag overruns.
• Monitor investment performance against benchmarks and assist in reforecasting for Investment Decisions portfolio.
