Job summary

A leading advisory firm seeks a Regional Head for Business Development who will spearhead activities across ASEAN, focusing on companies pursuing US capital market routes. This role involves managing client acquisitions, developing regional strategies, and establishing high-level partnerships. Proven experience in business development, corporate advisory, or investment banking is essential, along with a strong network among SMEs and corporate leaders. Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, corporate advisory, investment banking, fundraising, consulting, or related capital market roles.
  • Strong network among SMEs, fast-growth companies, founders, and corporate leaders across ASEAN.
  • Experience in US IPO, ECM/DCM, corporate finance, or listings advisory preferred.
  • Existing relationships with law firms, audit firms, corporate advisors, investment groups, or family offices.
  • Multilingual proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa, etc. is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead business development activities across ASEAN for US capital market.
  • Drive client acquisitions and manage business development cycle.
  • Build and scale a robust pipeline of potential issuers and partners.
  • Develop regional strategies for client recruitment and market expansion.
  • Manage and grow a high-performance regional BD team.
  • Represent organisation in senior-level discussions and events.
  • Establish relationships with CXO-level leaders and investors.
  • Curate strategic partnerships to enhance market reach.
  • Provide strategic insights to refine product positioning.
