A leading advisory firm seeks a Regional Head for Business Development who will spearhead activities across ASEAN, focusing on companies pursuing US capital market routes. This role involves managing client acquisitions, developing regional strategies, and establishing high-level partnerships. Proven experience in business development, corporate advisory, or investment banking is essential, along with a strong network among SMEs and corporate leaders. Multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
Spearhead business development activities across ASEAN, focusing on companies with potential to pursue US capital market routes.
Drive new client acquisitions and manage the full business development cycle — from initial outreach to deal structuring and onboarding.
Build and scale a robust pipeline of potential issuers, partners, and high-value referrals
Develop regional strategies for client recruitment, market expansion, and corporate engagement.
Manage, guide and grow a regional BD team and create a high-performance sales culture.
Represent the organisation in senior-level discussions, events, conferences, and investment forums.
Establish and maintain relationships with CXO-level leaders, investors, law firms, corporate advisors, and financial institutions.
Curate strategic partnerships to enhance market reach and strengthen deal sourcing channels.
Stay updated with US public-listing trends, capital market developments, and regulatory frameworks.
Provide strategic insights to management to refine product positioning and regional engagement models.
Uphold the organisation’s reputation as a trusted professional advisory group.
Lead client education sessions, presentations, and roadshows to increase brand visibility and deal conversions.
Proven experience in business development, corporate advisory, investment banking, fundraising, consulting, or related capital market roles.
Strong network among SMEs, fast-growth companies, founders, and corporate leaders across ASEAN.
Experience in US IPO, ECM/DCM, corporate finance, or listings advisory (preferred but not mandatory).
Existing relationships with law firms, audit firms, corporate advisors, investment groups, or family offices.
Multilingual proficiency (English, Mandarin, Bahasa, etc.) is an added advantage.
