Our client is a subsidiary under a global manufacturing organization, where it operates multiple manufacturing facilities worldwide. They are currently looking for a Regional FP&A Analyst (for APAC region) to be based in Melaka. This role offers long-term career growth as a core member of the regional team.

Job Summary

The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Variance Analysis: Compare actual financial results to forecasts, identifying key drivers of discrepancies.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights to senior leadership to guide business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate financial health and performance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to optimize business outcomes.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Assess industry trends and competitor performance to inform strategic planning.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related FP&A experience in manufacturing industry, preferably with regional exposure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential (due to business needs).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • 20% to 30% travel time within the APAC region.
  • Willing to work in Melaka (for training/orientation/meetings - hybrid working mode is available)
