Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans for the region in alignment with the company's overall objectives.

Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Drive finance innovation initiatives by exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and strategic decision-making.


2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process for the region, working closely with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.

Utilize advanced forecasting techniques and predictive analytics to refine budgeting models and improve forecast accuracy.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, encouraging experimentation and learning from both successes and failures.

3. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Oversee the preparation and dissemination of timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Leverage automation and data visualization tools to streamline reporting processes and enhance transparency.

Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements in financial reporting, fostering trust and confidence among stakeholders.


4. Corporate Governance:

Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical behavior in financial operations.

Establish and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Serve as a liaison between the finance department and the board of directors or audit committee, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and compliance matters.

5. Cash Flow Management:

Manage regional cash flow to optimize liquidity and support operational requirements.

Implement innovative cash management strategies, leveraging technology and analytics to forecast cash needs and optimize working capital.

Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, reduce transaction costs, and improve cash flow visibility across the organization.

6. Team Leadership and Development:

Provide leadership and guidance to the regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and develop finance staff through coaching, training and performance management initiatives.

Encourage innovation and creativity among team members, empowering them to challenge the status quo and contribute new ideas for improving financial processes and outcomes.

Qualifications
