Job summary

ELITE BEAUTY ASIA (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD is seeking a versatile Regional Corporate Legal Counsel in Kuala Lumpur.

You will serve as a strategic legal partner for operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan, handling employment law, contracts, and governance with internal and external partners. Requirements include LL.B, 5+ PQE with 2+ regional exposure, strong English drafting and negotiation, and Mandarin proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with at least 2 years regional/cross-border exposure.
• Excellent drafting/negotiation skills in English; Mandarin preferred.
• Experience managing external law firms across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and budget-controls in a regional setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional legal advice on employment, corporate governance, and commercial contracts across Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan.
• Oversee regulatory filings, corporate secretarial matters, and cross-border compliance programs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate cross-border/local distribution, vendor, supplier, rental and NDA contracts; standardize templates.
