Job Overview

The Regional Application Consultant (RAC) plays a key role in supporting business expansion within the HVAC Contracting and OEM sectors. This position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, providing technical expertise, and collaborating closely with the Malaysia Sales Director to achieve growth objectives across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical and application support for the company’s full product range, including conducting product demonstrations, seminars, and technical training sessions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Engineers, and Product Managers to resolve technical challenges at customer sites and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Promote and introduce new product lines to regional offices, key clients, and end users.
  • Strengthen sales performance by combining technical knowledge, strong customer relationships, and application expertise.
  • Build and maintain professional partnerships with end users, consulting engineers, and industry stakeholders through training, consultation, and technical support.
  • Identify and evaluate new product applications, providing insights to the sales and product development teams for potential business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, including hydronic and controls systems.
  • Proven experience in project execution or technical sales, with the ability to engage clients, suppliers, and consultants effectively.
  • Capable of working collaboratively within cross-functional or remote teams.
  • Proactive, analytical, and results-driven, with sound decision-making skills.
  • Prior experience working with consulting firms or mechanical contractors is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
