Job summary

An innovative online marketplace in Malaysia is seeking an Account Executive to assist in financial reporting and month-end closing. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely processing of payments. Candidates should hold a degree in Accountancy or ACCA and be proficient in English and Mandarin. Familiarity with the Xero accounting system is a plus. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and write English and Mandarin (Traditional / Simplified).
• Motivated and able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements for multiple regions.
• Responsible for accounting processes including AP, AR, GL, account reconciliation.
• Ensure timely processing of payments as per the company's process.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and stock take.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties for intercompany activities.
