Job summary

A leading education organization in Cyberjaya is seeking a Recruiter – Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment strategies and manage the full-cycle hiring process. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills. This role requires building relationships with candidates and stakeholders to enhance the hiring process.

The Recruiter – Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s workforce by leading recruitment strategies, managing full-cycle hiring processes, and building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Recruitment
    • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
    • Lead hiring efforts for mid-to-senior level and specialized roles across departments.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
    • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Interview & Selection
    • Conduct initial screenings, competency-based interviews, and coordinate interview panels.
    • Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and candidate evaluation.
  • Offer Management
    • Manage salary negotiations, prepare offer letters, and ensure smooth onboarding transitions.
  • Employer Branding
    • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and online platforms.
    • Collaborate with HR and marketing to strengthen employer brand presence.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness).
    • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach junior recruiters and talent acquisition specialists.
  • Share best practices and contribute to team development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring for mid-to-senior level positions.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR analytics tools.
