Job summary

Matahari Group of Companies is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our Penang operations. You will manage goods receipt, verify deliveries against LPO, assess condition, and tag received items for inventory. You will inform Supervisors to collect stock for shelf replenishment before storage in the outlet warehouse.

The role emphasizes FIFO stacking, area cleanliness, and accurate daily receipt reporting to HQ. This is a full-time, permanent position within our growing retail and wholesale network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Receiving Clerk preferred.
• Knowledge of FIFO and stock control helpful.
• Ability to follow receiving policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate receiving of goods following the Company policy.
• Ensure goods received are in good condition and reject expired items.
• Verify receipts against LPO quantities.
• Date and month stamp on cartons of received goods.
• Inform Supervisor for stock collection for shelf display replenishment.
• Maintain FIFO sequence when stacking goods.
• Keep the receiving area clean and organized.
• Prepare daily receipt summary and submit to HQ after closing receiving hub.
