Job summary

OTT CREATION MARKETING is seeking a driven Field Recovery Executive to join the Collections & Recovery team in Malaysia. The role focuses on managing overdue accounts through field visits, customer engagement, and negotiation to secure repayments.

You will work independently, travel to customer sites, and support recovery activities to hit monthly targets. Education: SPM or Diploma holders with relevant collection or recovery experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Overdue accounts management and recovery focus.
• Experience/knowledge in hire purchase, leasing, financing, or rent-to-own is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively and own transportation.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to customers with overdue accounts.
• Engage customers to discuss outstanding payments and recovery options.
• Collect payments and secure firm repayment commitments.
• Negotiate settlement plans and payment arrangements.
• Deliver recovery notices and 관련 documents.
• Perform skip tracing and account verification activities.
• Assist with asset recovery and repossession when required.
• Work towards monthly field recovery targets.
• Submit daily field visit reports with outcomes and follow-ups.
• Update status in the field operations system in real-time.
• Handle customer interactions professionally within legal and company procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts through field visits, customer engagement, payment negotiation, account verification, and recovery activities. You will work directly with customers to understand their situations, secure repayment commitments, and support the recovery of outstanding accounts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting customers, solving problems, and achieving measurable targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to customers with overdue accounts.
• Engage customers professionally to discuss outstanding payments and recovery options.
• Collect outstanding payments and secure firm repayment commitments.
• Negotiate suitable settlement plans and payment arrangements.
• Deliver collection notices and other relevant documents.
• Conduct skip tracing and account verification activities to locate customers.
• Assist with asset recovery and repossession activities when required.
• Work towards and achieve monthly field recovery targets.
• Submit daily field visit reports with clear outcomes and follow-up actions.
• Update customer and case status in real-time through the field operations system/mobile application.
• Handle customer interactions professionally while complying with legal requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

Education

• SPM or Diploma holders with relevant collection or recovery experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in debt collection, repossession, field recovery, or enforcement.
• Experience in hire purchase, leasing, financing, or rent-to-own industries will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Own transportation.
• Willing to travel extensively for customer visits.
