Job summary

National Instruments Malaysia is seeking a R&D Test Engineer (fresh graduates welcome) to join our testing team in Penang. You will own and contribute to end-to-end testing, from design of automated test platforms to hardware-software integration, fostering innovation in high-tech instruments.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in electrical/electronics/mechatronics engineering, strong computing knowledge, and familiarity with LabVIEW or TestStand.

Qualifications

• B.S. in electrical, electronics or mechatronics engineering.
• Strong understanding of computers and high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand advantageous).
• Aptitude for learning and applying test industry technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy automated test solutions for manufacture of computer-based instruments.
• Define and implement project plans, milestones and reviews for test systems.
• Integrate hardware and software to support manufacturing test across products.
• Develop test applications running on desktop/industrial PCs and review product specs/user docs.
