Job summary

A leading renewable energy provider in Malaysia is looking for a qualified engineer to focus on solar PV systems and energy efficiency projects. Responsibilities include product sourcing, project documentation, technical assistance, and assisting the sales team with support processes. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and possess knowledge of PV system design and relevant standards, with familiarity in design tools like PVsyst and Autocad being an advantage.

Job description

· Knowledgeable on Electrical System, Power Electronic, Renewable Energy, Solar PV Systems, BESS, EV charging and Energy Efficiency

· Responsible for new product sourcing, testing and implementation for renewable energy.

· Assists Sales Team in all marketing and technical support processes.

· Create and maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.

· Assists on product certification, import and licensing application with authority.

· Assist the team complete Solar PV project on time and maintain project budget and resolving problem includes provide technical assistance for site when required.

· Conduct market research to identify latest industry trends.

· Perform any other function that may be assigned by Management.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Renewable Energy)

• In depth knowledge of PV system design/BESS (engineering planning), IEC codes and specifications according to the project / country specific requirements as per relevant standards.

• Familiar with solar design tools (eg: PVsyst, Autocad) is added advantage.
