Job description

New Product Development

• Assist in developing new products including processing and techniques.
• Establish and update work instructions including analysis methods, product specifications, formulations, ingredient lists and nutritional facts.
• Document all project reports and sample statuses on time.
• Review and improve applications for new and current raw materials and packaging materials when necessary.
• Tackle processing problems, support procurement in ingredient selection and evaluate lab tests and trial runs.
• Proactively initiate and follow up all R&D activities including lab‑scale samples.

Technical Support and Product Shelf Life

• Provide technical support for trial runs and product shelf life.
• Support production issues including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients and packaging processes to ensure finished products are safe and meet required quality standards.
• Conduct sensory evaluations for shelf‑life products and closely monitor product stability to determine product shelf life.

Administrative, Communication and Regulatory Support

• Communicate with R&D staff and various departments to tackle problems, establish objectives and coordinate new projects during trial runs and online troubleshooting.
• Build consensus and facilitate change across organizational lines through self‑confidence, pragmatism and excellent communication skills.
• Serve as an effective project manager combining analytical and strategic mindedness.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as requested by the immediate superior from time to time.
