Job responsibilities:

Design Focused 2 vacancies

• Design optical sensor from initial idea through to series production
• Responsible for hardware project management as part of interdisciplinary and international project teams
• System design and development of miniaturized and cost-optimized hardware for switching and measuring optical sensors
• Creation of circuit diagrams, realization of simulations (Spice), supervision of PCB design
• Setting up, commissioning and verification of circuits and sensors
• Carry out the necessary type of tests (eg temperature, isolation, ambient light suppression, EMC) and release measurements according to requirements
• Create necessary specifications and documentation
• Coordinate with EMS service providers
• Collaborate in the transfer to series production
• Support series products throughout the entire product life cycle

Product Focused 1 vacancy

• Qualify new components and second source components
• Carry out the necessary type of tests (eg EMC, temperature, ambient light) and release measurements
• Support product verification testing, document and communicate test results
• Collaboration in the transfer of products to series production
• Analyze test results from production, identify issues and recommend solutions to ensure optimal product performance
• Second Level support for production issues
• Resolve local production issues and provide feedback to the organization. Support series products throughout the entire product life cycle
• Work in international engineering teams with coworkers from Asia & Europe

Job requirements:

• Bachelors degree in electronics engineering, telecommunication engineering or any relevant field
• Experienced in analogue and digital circuit technology and in the field of EMC (optical sensor technology is a plus)
• Good knowledge in electronic components
• Competent handling with ECAD tools and circuit stimulation (Spice)
• Knowledge of C and VHDL is a plus
• Proven knowledge in the evaluation of solutions against industry standards (CE-Compliance)
