Job summary

We are seeking a talented R&D Chemist to join our dynamic team at OSMOSIS NUTRITION SDN. BHD. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As an R&D Chemist, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and improvement of our innovative nutrition products. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
  • Perform routine and non‑routine laboratory analyses in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for testing and experimentation.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Document test results, observations, and deviations in laboratory records and reports.
  • Assist in method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and laboratory best practices.
  • Support R&D and product development teams with analytical data and technical input.
  • Participate in internal audits and external inspections as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific background.
  • Preferable an IKM registered member with at least 2 years working experiences.
  • Proficient in wet chemistry techniques, instrumentation, and microbiological testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and laboratory safety practices.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
