Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Software Verification - Validation Engineer to join the Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) team. This hybrid role blends quality assurance with embedded software engineering to ensure the stability, performance, and quality of our quantum platform.

You will collaborate with physicists, firmware, frontend and backend developers to implement robust test automation, data workflows, and user interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in software verification and test automation.
• Proficient in C/ C++/ Python for development and debugging.
• Strong understanding of software performance fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in hardware-software interactions.
• Ability to collaborate across geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test automation workflows and data analysis.
• Develop system-level test automation for quantum control systems.
• Create and optimize automation frameworks for testing and infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans with automation and manual testing.
• Work with Software, Firmware and Hardware teams to ensure high-quality deployments.
• Co-define V&V processes and propagate them to global teams.
• Collaborate across Asia, Europe and the US.
