Job summary

A leading construction firm in Selangor seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage pre and post-contract operations, handle contractual matters, and liaise with clients and construction professionals. Ideal candidates should possess a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and be fluent in English and Mandarin. Fresh graduates may apply for junior positions, while senior roles require a minimum of three years of experience. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overall QS operation for pre and post-contract include tendering, project administration and co-ordination, valuation of contract works (assist in interim claim submission, payment certificate), preparation of all contract/commercial related correspondence, etc

To handle all contractual matters related to the execution of the construction contracts.

To liaise with the client/consultants and other construction professionals, such as Site Managers, Project Managers and Site Engineers.

To undertake any assignment to be given by the management from time to time as instructed by the management.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

For Junior QS Position: Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.

For Senior Qs Position: Minimum 3 years working experience in construction field.

Fluent speaking and writing in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Good organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking skills and results oriented.

Working Venue: Banting, Selangor

Working Hours: 8.30am - 6.00pm, rest 1.5 hours (From Monday to Saturday)
