Job Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents
• Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitoring project costs and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Providing advice on contractual and commercial matters to project teams
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities to improve project profitability
• Preparing and submitting progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a quantity surveying role, preferably within the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project control procedures
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects successfully
• Familiarity with the latest industry regulations and best practices
