Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-cost to post-contract responsibilities including cost estimation and tender preparation.
  • Conduct site visits to check project progress and verify work completed for payment claims.
  • Handle quantity take-offs and liaise with subcontractors.
  • Attend site meetings as required and work closely with site supervisors.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD and QS software.
  • Good numerical, analytical, planning & communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and fast learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proactive, willing to learn, able to work independently and team player.
  • Ability to write & converse in Chinese, English & Malay.
Responsibilities
  • Responsibility on Pre-cost contract to post contract management including tender preparation documents, cost estimation, bills of quantities (BQ), progress claim, variation orders, claim preparation VO, final account, worker namelists, & related authorities submission.
  • Maintain and update costing records and project budgets.
  • Conduct site visits to check on project progress and verify work done for payment claims.
  • Good in handling taking off quantity, liaise with sub-contractors and consultants, sourcing and calling for a quotation for comparison, preparing purchase order.
  • Preparing site handover-letter and assist in preparing site report to client.
  • Support in quotation & final invoice issuance.
  • To attend site meeting as and when required by management.
  • Work closely with site supervisor for on-going projects to ensure projects run smooth.
  • To undertake other ad-hoc duties as appropriate and as assigned by Director.
