Responsible for driving backend SPC performance to meet or exceed targets and automating the SPC tool with integration to other QMS tools to support auto tool stop and hold lot.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with process owners to translate business process requirements into harmonized operating procedures for deployment across all backend sites.
- Drive the automation of the SPC tool, ensuring integration with other QMS tools to support auto tool stop and hold lot.
- Develop a strong SPC community with local process experts to facilitate best practices and support stakeholders in achieving targets.
- Define SPC parameters following QMS standards, applying Western Electric rules, classifications, and appropriate control limits.
- Standardize SPC tool usage and harmonize practices across sites, including OCAP.
- Monitor SPC performance with local process experts to ensure process stability and capability, reacting to deviations as necessary.
- Act as the main contact for process owners to communicate SPC information and gather feedback on site needs and concerns.
- Conduct training to ensure local process experts are well-equipped with necessary knowledge and skills.
- Support continuous improvement and standardization of business processes.
Your Profile
You are suited for this role if you have:
- A degree or master's in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Material, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Good knowledge of statistics, industrial standards, statistical methods & tools, and FMEA.
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor backend process engineering, package development, or quality management, with hands-on experience in statistical process control in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, self-motivation, and passion for statistics and problem-solving.
- Experience leading technical teams and conducting site validations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and big data analytics tools.
