Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Quality Manager to lead onsite quality control during a major project in Malaysia. The role involves coordinating snagging activities with client, consultant, and contractor teams, proactively identifying issues, and driving improvements across project processes to meet stringent standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or demonstrated experience on large-scale international construction projects.
• Proven experience in MEP construction, construction quality management, commissioning, and quality control testing—ideally within data center or industrial construction environments where specific installation practices and standards are critical.
• Technically skilled with Microsoft 365, BIM, Bluebeam, and other construction software.
• Sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to installation compliance and high-quality results—auditing contractor certifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible leader onsite, overseeing all quality control processes on site, ensuring work meets high standards of performance, functionality and safety.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and contractor on snagging activities, schedule and partner engagement.
• Identify issues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively.
• Implement and monitor project processes, partnering with the client to make improvements and revisions.
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, collaborating on solving problems and communicating impacts to partners.
• Implement project procedures and ensure these are observed.
• Drive conformance to quality expectations across all project phases.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Implement project procedures and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that this procedure is always observed
• Drive conformance to quality expectations across all project phases.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or demonstrated experience on large-scale international construction projects.
• Bring proven experience in MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) construction, construction quality management, commissioning, and quality control testing—ideally within data center or industrial construction environments where specific installation practices and standards are critical.
• Are technically skilled in Microsoft 360 Suite, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Bluebeam, and other construction software.
• Possess a sharp analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to installation compliance and high-quality results—this includes auditing contractor certifications and adhering to governing standards.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and can convey technical information to non-technical audiences while promoting inclusive collaboration.
• Are a team player who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and values working together to meet shared goals and project timelines.
• Show adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to evolving project needs.
• Have a passion for quality, a deep understanding of project standards, and a mindset driven by continuous improvement.

Please note that this role will start on a contract engagement and will be based onsite.
