Job summary

A leading manufacturer in the data center solutions industry is seeking a Quality Control Engineer based in Johor, Malaysia. The role involves developing inspection standards, leading QC teams, conducting reliability testing, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Mechatronics or a related field, with at least 3 years of quality management experience. Proficiency in quality tools and knowledge of ISO/IATF standards is essential. The salary is competitive, up to RM8,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management or supplier quality engineering.
• Proficient in quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, 5Why, and 5W2H.
• Knowledge of ISO/IATF quality systems and reliability testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inspection standards, work instructions, and quality control documentation.
• Lead QC teams in daily inspection activities, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Analyze customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (8D reporting).
• Conduct reliability testing for new products and provide test reports to customers as required.
• Manage calibration of measuring instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in line with ISO/IATF standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve quality issues effectively.
• Promote continuous improvement in inspection methods and product quality performance.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Mechatronics, Quality, or Engineering-related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management or supplier quality engineering.
