Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality processes and ensure product compliance with safety standards. The candidate should have an Engineering Degree and prefer prior experience in production and quality management. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred for client communication. You will develop documentation, manage operations teams, and provide regular quality reports. This position requires independence, motivation, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Six working days (Monday - Saturday), 8am - 8pm.
• Experience in production and quality management system preferred.
• Ability to conduct inspections on materials and products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relevant documents for all quality-related processes.
• Manage Production Operators to meet safety and quality expectations.
• Track and report on production yields and non-conformance products.

Job description

Quality Engineer/Quality Management System Engineer

Be able to practice and comply to safety procedure at the production floor.

Develop and sustain the relevant documents for Incoming, Production, Warehouse and Quality in general for any new materials and products introduced.

Manage a group of Production Operators to deliver the finished goods that comply to safety, internal specifications and meeting the customers’ expectations.

Be able to conduct inspection on incoming raw materials, in-process and finished goods.

Utilize systematic approach in addressing any production or materials quality issues and work with respective person in-charge to provide short and long-term corrective actions.

Be able to track, monitor and provide reports on production yields and non-conformance products to the Management on a regular and needs basis.

Requirements:

FULL TIME: Six working days (Monday - Saturday), 8am - 8 pm. Rest hour: 13:00-14:00 and 17:30-18:30.

PART TIME: Flexible working hour to be discussed.

Academic qualification: Engineering Degree in any field.

Having relevant experience in production and quality management system are preferred.

Proficient in English and Mandarin is preferred to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking clients.

Having CAD knowledge is an added advantage.
