Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop and maintain QA plans for global new product introductions using advanced planning and process optimization. You will support quoting activities through design and implementation phases, evaluate inspection processes, and contribute to global training programs.

• Professional qualifications or a diploma in engineering related to electrical or electronics, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization.
• Provide support for all quoting activities by participation in initial design, development, and implementation phases.
• Evaluate inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
• Support global training programs by developing and implementing specialized training sessions.
• Develop systems for document storage, access and review pertaining to global customer accounts.
• Review supplies and discrepancies; coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain documentation files and systems for document storage and access.
• Coordinate supplier or customer discrepancy reduction and corrective actions.
• Participate in vendor surveys and assist suppliers in process improvement.
• Interface with departments regarding Policies and Procedures.
• Assist in implementing Process Improvement and Optimization focusing on proactive methodologies.
• Assist in standardizing manufacturing processes for global customer accounts.
• Provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules and follow company security policies.
• Handle customer calls.

Job description

Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization specific to the customer.

Provide support for all quoting activities by participation in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.

Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.

Support all global training programs specific to their customer by development and implementation of specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.

Develop appropriate systems for document storage, access and review pertaining to global customer accounts.

Review all supplies, internal, and customer discrepancies, coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective/proactive action efforts.

Conduct periodic review and maintenance of all documentation files; develop appropriate systems for document storage and access.

Review all supplier or customer discrepancies. Coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort.

Participate in the vendor survey activities as applicable. Drive proactive participation with suppliers and (when possible) aid in their process improvement efforts.

Interface with all departments as applied to the Policies and Procedures.

Provide insight and assistance of implementing and maintaining Process Improvement and Optimization concentrating on proactive methodologies.

Assist in driving the standardization of manufacturing processes of global customer accounts.

Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.

Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Ability to handle customer calls.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.

Positive attitude & willing to learn.

Able to work under pressure.

Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and PCB assembly process, results oriented attitude, achieve through team concept skills/activities.
