About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Technician to support and monitor surface treatment processes, ensuring all parts meet quality and specification requirements. This role involves documentation, vendor coordination, and close collaboration with production and quality teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue job sheets for parts sent for surface treatment, detailing part numbers, quantities, and required processes.
• Record completed jobs and update status in the internal tracking system.
• Liaise with surface treatment vendors to clarify job requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and prepare necessary documentation, including job sheets, process routing forms, drawings, and specifications.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of vendor documents such as certificates of conformity.
• Maintain proper traceability and filing of all surface treatment records.
• Inspect part quantities, conditions, and labeling before shipment to ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate with internal production and quality teams to address issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field.
• Working experience in quality control, surface treatment, or manufacturing coordination will be an added advantage.
