Responsibilities
- Quality Control & Monitoring
- Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Ensure all processes comply with SOPs, quality standards, and customer specifications.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and update SOPs, Work Instructions, forms, and quality documents.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP (if applicable).
- Audit & Inspection
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Non‑Conformance Management
- Investigate product defects, customer complaints, and process non‑compliances.
- Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective & preventive actions.
- Continuous Improvement
- Support improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean, or process optimisation.
- Recommend preventive measures to reduce defects and improve productivity.
- Training & Awareness
- Provide quality awareness training to production staff and operators.
- Ensure all employees understand and follow quality standards.
- Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports.
- Analyze defect trends and propose improvement plans.
Qualifications
- SPM or Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC.
- Knowledge of ISO/GMP/HACCP is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
- Experience in conducting training will be an added advantage.
