Job summary

QIMA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Part time / Freelance) to join our Onsite Inspection team in Kuala Lumpur. You will report to an Inspection Team Leader and participate in quality inspections of consumer goods, electronics, and other products across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include attending inspections, following guidelines, and documenting results. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in Hardline/E&E or related sectors, knowledge of AQL standards, and strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Hardline, E&E or Softline inspection.

Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be reporting to an Inspection Team Leader and working as a part of our Operations team. At QIMA, the role of Operations is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work is performed to the QIMA standard of quality. Your role in this will be to:

Responsibilities

• Check email daily in order to receive inspection documents and guidelines;
• Attend inspections on time and communicate with supplier in a professional way;
• Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures;
• Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and time lines.

Requirements

• Experience in quality management and the Hardline industry and E&E industry, Softline inspection experience is a plus(minimum of 3 years) ;
• Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations;
• Good command of English (spoken and written);
• Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.
