Overview

Morelux Lighting (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting solutions, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Executive to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a full-time QA Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality and reliability of our lighting products, contributing to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Documenting and analysing quality data, identifying trends, and proposing corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve our quality management systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to resolve quality-related issues and optimise processes
• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures and best practices
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date quality records and reporting on key performance indicators
• Manage and maintain the company’s ISO [9001:2015 / 14001 / UL / ETL, etc.] Quality Management System (QMS).
• Plan, conduct, and report internal audits to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies for surveillance and re-certification audits.
• Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Facilitate Management Review Meetings and ensure all related documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Train and support department heads in QMS procedures and documentation requirements.
• Track quality metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Proficient in using quality management tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
