Job Description
  • To lead and manage the Quality Department, overseeing the quality system for Volvo Truck, Volvo Bus Chassis Assembly, and Bus Body Built products.
  • To work and correspond with the related internal and external parties or department of Truckquip Sdn. Bhd.
  • To prepare inspection check list and check report to respective line in-charged.
  • Carry out QC meeting/ presentation to the Management as and when required for quality improvement.
  • To monitor the construction process of all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality and design requirements in accordance with Company procedures, Safety and Health Regulations requirements and discipline.
  • To comply with company policies, government regulations, and Quality Management System standards (ISO 9001 & 14000). To perform QC Inspection/ Final Audit at PDI before delivery to customers overseas/local.
  • Plan, Manage & Execute Company Business Plan towards Target and KPI set for the year.
  • Continuous focus on staff training and motivation to obtain desire skill and knowledge in operating daily duties and function in Quality Department.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering Field/ Professional Quality Certified Certificate
  • 10 years of Quality Department Experience in Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications and related software tools.
  • Capable of developing and managing effective work plans and schedules.
  • Able to perform effectively both independently and under challenging conditions.
