Job summary

Brooks Automation in Malaysia's Pasir Gudang is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector II to safeguard product quality in our semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will conduct thorough inspections, advocate for customer quality requirements, and develop QC procedures, with RCCA and 8D experience. This onsite role requires a Diploma in Engineering or Quality Management and 3–5 years of QA experience; willingness to rotate shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of quality assurance experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and QC methodologies.
• CQI or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proven ability to advocate for customer quality requirements.
• Experience with RCCA and 8D methodologies.
• Proficiency with quality inspection tools and software.
• Willing to rotate shifts and work onsite in Pasir Gudang.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong character, representing customer interests with a particular focus on quality requirements. This role demands exceptional attention to detail and a robust background in quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of semiconductor products to ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.

• Represent customer interests by advocating for high-quality requirements and addressing any concerns.

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.

• Perform regular audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions using RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) and 8D methodologies.

• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality metrics.

• Train and mentor junior quality inspectors to uphold quality standards.

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the semiconductor industry.

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.

• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma) is preferred.

• Proven track record of advocating for customer quality requirements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in RCCA and 8D methodologies.

• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.

• Willing to perform rotating shifts

• Willing to work at Pasir Gudang
