Job description
About Us

At N1.Healthcare, we are transforming how individuals understand and manage their health. Our AI-powered medical reports combine the latest in artificial intelligence and data science to deliver personalized, accessible, and meaningful health insights. We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our fast-growing team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our intelligent, healthcare-focused systems—from advanced diagnostic insights to real-time health analytics.

Your Role

As a QA Engineer at N1.Healthcare, you are the essential quality gatekeeper, crucial for patient safety and data accuracy in our clinical products. You\'ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver highly reliable and usable experiences for doctors and patients, ensuring strict regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). You are responsible for quality control from development to deployment, translating requirements into tests. Your expertise in automation and strong analytical skills are key to delivering optimized and agile healthcare technology. Join us in setting a new standard for healthtech excellence.

Your Challenges:

  • Play a pivotal role in quality planning and design, integrating quality assurance into every phase of our projects.
  • Ensure all production releases meet stringent security and compliance standards (including adequate unit tests), with a sharp focus on data privacy and integrity.
  • Champion continuous quality improvement by executing manual and automated tests across our full stack: web portals, mobile clinical apps, back-end infrastructure, AI applications, and APIs.
  • Implement and expand our automated testing frameworks (e.g., using Cypress), designing comprehensive tests to be integrated directly into the build pipeline for early bug detection.
  • Drive innovation by developing detailed, structured test plans and test cases based on system requirements, including those for complex clinical workflows.
  • Design and maintain test scripts for critical areas such as regression testing, negative testing, and retesting high-severity clinical bugs to increase product quality.
  • Steer team consistency and knowledge transfer by meticulously documenting and updating internal Quality Assurance processes and guides.

What You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent technical background.
  • Ability to write high-quality, maintainable test code, ideally using Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Proven experience in designing and executing both automated and manual test plans.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Extensive understanding of continuous integration (CI) testing.
  • A passion for Linux and open-source platforms.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

What’s Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with healthcare data security and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience with advanced automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (RDBMS).
  • Familiarity with AI-powered test automation suites (e.g., Test Sprite, Testim).
  • Experience in performance and load testing, especially in high-throughput clinical environments.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, preferably Go, Python, C/C++.
  • Experience or strong interest in the healthcare domain.
Why Join Us?
  • Work at the cutting edge of health technology and data science.
  • Contribute to a product that makes a measurable positive impact on people’s lives.
  • Collaborate with a passionate and cross-disciplinary team in a mission-driven culture.
  • Opportunities for continuous learning, growth, and career development.

If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare through exceptional quality assurance engineering, we’d love to meet you!
