Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an individual to assist in maintaining QMS documentation and support audits. Candidates should have a minimum qualification of SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Degree and experience with ISO standards is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome. This role involves ensuring document control processes and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with IATF16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 Quality System preferred.
• Ability to manage people if needed.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position or fresh graduates are welcome.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating QMS documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
• Support the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
• Coordinate document control processes to ensure version control and accessibility.
• Ensure all employees have access to up-to-date QMS documentation and training materials.
• Support training efforts related to QMS procedures and quality awareness.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO, EMS & IATF) and customer‑specific requirements.
• Collect, monitor, and report data on energy usage, waste generation, and other key environmental indicators.
• Help manage waste disposal processes and maintain records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Other duties assigned by Section Head from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: SPM/ STPM/ Diploma/ Degree in any field.
• Experience working with IATF16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 Quality System, auditing and documentary control or other relevant quality will be an advantage.
• Able to manage a group of people if needed.
• Skill required with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Critical thinker and problem‑solving skills.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position / Fresh graduates.
• Able to travel for business purpose as required.
