Job summary

Bosch is seeking a QMS Engineer in Penang to drive internal audits, manage corrective actions, and maintain QMS documentation. You will certify as internal auditor for IATF16949 and VDA6.3, coordinate customer audits, and support process improvements across the plant.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IATF16949 and VDA6.3 standards, track actions, and contribute to ongoing quality enhancement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), auditing, or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and applications to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Experience in internal, customer, or third-party audit coordination is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal audit activities (e.g., IATF16949, VDA6.3 process audits, CQI17 audits) and 3rd party audits.
• Track and follow up on QMS corrective actions.
• Certify as internal auditor of IATF16949 and VDA6.3 process auditor.
• Coordinate IATF customer audits and perform annual manufacturing assessments according to customer requirements.
• Plant CSR coordinator.
• Support to manage PgP1 Process Compass Landscape and maintenance.
• Improve and maintain QMS documentation system.
• Responsible for QMS improvement activities.
• Projects assigned by superior.
