A leading aluminium manufacturing company in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee QA/QC processes and ensure all products meet quality standards. The role involves developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits, and supervising a dedicated team. Strong statistical analysis skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, particularly in Mandarin, are essential. Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies and procedures for aluminium manufacturing.
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
Managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS including documentation and operations compliance.
Monitor and analyze all quality related data using statistical methods to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Ensure all products adhere to quality standards before delivery.
Oversee inspection and quality control of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods
Able to read and interpret technical drawings to verify that products meet specifications
Supervise on-site production processes and ensure quality standards are followed
Coordinate product checking, packing, and delivery to ensure shipment quality and schedule
Handle customer complaints and lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Perform final product inspections, documenting results and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Assist in drafting, updating, and maintaining ISO9001 quality management system documentation
Lead internal and external ISO audits, coordinating with all departments to implement corrective actions.
Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and records.
Support internal and external audits, and follow up on corrective actions
Lead, train, and manage the QA/QC team to strengthen discipline and execution
Perform periodic audit to ensure the compliance of SOP implementation.
Provide excellence coaching which contributes to the company culture development of all QA team members.
Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality concerns or specifications.
