Job summary

Asia Paint (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Laboratory QC Technician to perform QC testing on products and incoming raw materials, record results, conduct pilots during QC, and advise production on adjustments. The role also involves retaining samples, assisting in product development, color matching, and preparing samples.

The incumbent will calibrate and verify lab instruments, issue COAs to customers, update BOM in the system, ensure lab housekeeping and safety, and undertake duties assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform QC test for products and incoming raw materials. Record result of the test performed.
• Conduct pilot during QC process and advise production the needed adjustment.
• Responsible for retain sample keeping.
• Assist in product development, product evaluation, raw material evaluation, color matching and sample preparation.
• Conduct calibration and verification for lab instrument.
• Issuance of COA for customers.
• Updating BOM in system.
• Responsible for lab housekeeping and safety.
• Perform duties assigned by superior
