Job summary

Dexcom Malaysia is seeking a Receiving Inspection QC Inspector to support quality control processes for incoming components, materials, and subassemblies. You will conduct inspections, document results, and ensure paperwork is accurate and legible, escalating discrepancies as needed.

The role requires a minimum 2 years of relevant QA/QC experience in medical device or manufacturing environments, ability to read drawings and tolerances, and proficiency with inspection tools and Microsoft Office.

Meet the team:

A receiving inspection QC inspector assists in maintaining high‑quality standards by supporting quality control processes, conducting inspections, and managing documentation, contributing to the overall quality and compliance of products or services within an organization.

Where you come in:

As a member of the Receiving Inspection team, the inspector is responsible to ensure the activities related to the inspection functions in a manner which meets company standards and methods as determined by quality assurance or other engineering departments.

What makes you successful:

You will perform inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for incoming components, materials, subassemblies, and product as conforming to specified requirements in accordance with material specification, drawing and quality assurance standards. You will prepare, record, and update receiving inspection report form. You will ensure all paperwork contains accurate and legible information. Any discrepancies are noted on the receiving inspection report form. You will perform transaction related to QA sample or nonconforming materials in a defined system if applicable. You will apply approval label, release, and move inspection lots to approve locations, or vice apply rejection label and quarantine the nonconforming inspection lots once analytical data is evaluated. You will monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure it is clean and safe to use. You will use the Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Excel, Outlooks. You will adhere to all GMP, safety guidelines and company standards at all times. You will assume and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a high school certificate (SPM), or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience and/or training. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to flex schedule to work in different shifts to meet demand. Receiving inspection and/or QA/QC experience. Min 2 years in the medical device industry or manufacturing industry previous experience. Experience using inspection tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gauges) Ability to understand drawings and tolerances.
