Job summary

BP Plastics in Malaysia is seeking a QC/QA inspector to ensure materials meet specifications through incoming and final inspections, testing, and accurate documentation.

The role requires SPM, 1 year QC/QA experience preferred, ability to work in hot and noisy environments, self-discipline with good time management, and basic computer skills. This on-site position offers exposure to quality systems and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

  • SPM qualification is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in QC/QA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming and final QC inspections based on approved plans and verify material/product quality against specifications.
  • Inspect product appearance, packaging, and labelling per instructions.
  • Conduct lab testing and internal equipment calibration as scheduled.
  • Evaluate raw and packaging materials and monitor testing material stock levels.
  • Identify, segregate, and quarantine non-conforming products.
  • Support rework, sorting, and goods return processes; assist in data collection and complaint investigations.
  • Report abnormalities and submit required reports.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with QMS, EHS, GMP, ISCC, 5S, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by superiors.
