Job description

We are looking for an experienced QAQC Manager / Quality Management Representative (QMR) to lead our company’s Quality Assurance & Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will oversee project quality, ensure ISO compliance, and continuously improve our quality processes across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

QA/QC Management

• Oversee and manage implementation and execution of Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Quality Assurance, Control, Compliance, Inspection, Testing, Qualification, Certification and Procedures to achieve tip top shape project quality objectives
• Provide technical advice, assistance and answer queries from clients, project teams, sub-contractors, vendors and 3rd party inspectors
• Direct the preparation and implementation of the QA/QC part for project management system and ensure that the QA-QC processes are well established, applied and maintained
• Review and monitor all internal and external Corrective Action Report (CAR), Non Conformance Report (NCR) and Quality Observation Report (QOR) log received from sites for timely closure of all open CAR’s/NCR’s/QOR’s
• Regularly inspect the project sites / vendors / sub-vendors, analyze non-conformities and complaints, identify root causes and propose corrective actions
• Effective review & approve vendor documents such as Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Procedures, Method of Statements, Manufacturer Data Books (MDR), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welder Qualification Certificates (WQT)

Quality Management Representative (QMR)

• Ensure that QMS requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO requirement
• Custodian of the Quality Manual and implementation of the QMS
• Promulgate and implement new procedures as and when necessary to improve on the QMS
• Plan and schedule Internal Quality Audit of the Company’s QMS
• Chair the ISO Committee meetings
• Ensure suitability and effectiveness of the QMS
• Report to the Top Management on the performance of the QMS and the needs for improvement
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company
• liaise with external parties on matters relating the QMS

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC or Quality Management.
• At least 5 years of managerial or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong coordination, administrative skills, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
