Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a QAQC professional to assist in project management. Responsibilities include ensuring quality standards are met across projects, handling project documentation, and liaising with teams to ensure compliance with safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in Data Centre or Industrial projects. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in QA/QC, preferably in Data Centre / Industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 standards.
• Able to work independently on site with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist QAQC Manager and Project Manager in all project works.
• Accountable for quality management works and implementation of projects.
• Oversee preparation and submission of weekly quality control reports.

a) To assist QAQC Manager dan Project Manager in ALL projects works.

b) Project related works; - Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to M, E & I with interfacing multidisciplinary processes.

c) Accountable for complete project QA/QC documentation including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, action for recurring problems and site instruction/observations, permanent materials deli/erred and installed with related important QA/QC documents.

d) Leadership liaison with client, site consultant & construction team, project consultant, vendor, contractors, internal QA/QC team together with Internal Project Team.

e) Project related works; - Accountable for project QA and QC on all site activities,QA/QC records and documentation.

f) Project related works; - Accountable for quality management works for the smooth and safe implementation of projects following strict site EHS guidelines. Oversee preparation and submission of weekly quality control report and fulfil all project contract obligation in all quality related matters.

REQUIREMENT

• Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in QA/QC, preferably in Data Centre / Industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 standards, CIDB, and construction quality/safety practices.
• Able to work independently on site with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
