Job Responsibilities

Perform in-process, final inspections, and machine buyoff checks in accordance with customer specifications and internal quality requirements.

Support QA Engineers in the evaluation and tracking of nonconformities by collecting accurate inspection data, test results, and defect evidence.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of inspection results, nonconformities, and quality checklists.

Assist in verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions by re-checking parts, processes, or machines after implementation.

Provide timely updates to QA Engineers and production teams on inspection findings, defects, or process deviations.

Work closely with FOL to inspect and verify outgoing parts and materials against specifications, escalating issues when nonconformities are detected.

Support internal audits by preparing inspection records, calibration records, and other quality documentation as required.

Follow established quality standards, work instructions, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Assist in maintaining and calibrating inspection tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy of results.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring quality issues or inspection challenges.

Undertake other duties and responsibilities assigned by QA Engineers or Supervisors, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in quality, mechanical, industrial, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing/quality role.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in quality inspection, in-process checks, or related quality control activities.
  • Basic understanding of quality processes such as defect reporting, corrective/preventive action follow-up, and document control.
  • Familiarity with inspection methods, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and quality checklists.
  • Exposure to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in recording data, and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with QA Engineers, FOL, SQE, and production teams.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into advanced quality methodologies (SPC, PFMEA, RCCA, etc.) with training and experience.
