Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Quality Assurance Operator to perform daily inspections and maintain quality records. The role requires a minimum of SPM in Mechanical or related field and 1 year of experience in a quality environment. Proficiency in QA equipment is preferred. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards whilst collaborating with production teams to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• 1 year related working experience in a Quality Environment.
• Computer literate with preferred experience using QA equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection activities assigned by superior.
• Input all inspection data into inspection checksheet.
• Report non-conformities to supervisor.
• Maintain inspection records and keep tools calibrated.

Reports to Quality Assurance Junior Engineer.

To perform daily Inspection visual or using QA Equipment-Caliper, CMM, Laser Scan etc activities assigned by immediate superior.

To input all inspection data into inspection checksheet and get approval from supervisor.

Report to Supervisor and relevant parties for non-conformity detected.

Ensure measuring tools and equipments used are calibrated & safekeeping.

To keep and maintain inspection records in proper manner and tidy all the time.

Liaise with Production for quick turnaround of work in progress for clearance.

Daily update on Daily QA Report.

Maintain good house keeping and 5’S.

Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.

Adhere to all application Occupational Safety and health laws and regulation as will as such standard practices and procedures instituted by the Company.

Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by Department Head.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM & above in Mechanical or related field
• 1 year related working experience in Quality Environment.
• Computer literate. Preferred experience with QA equipment
