We are looking for candidates who can start immediately and have strong experience in industrial building projects, especially data centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures in compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee QA/QC activities throughout all construction phases of industrial buildings, including data centres—covering civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and commissioning works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and internal quality audits to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters, including inspections, testing requirements, document submissions, and site verifications.
- Monitor material quality, verify compliance with technical specifications, and ensure traceability and certification of all materials used.
- Maintain comprehensive quality records, test reports, and documentation for project handover and close‑out.
- Lead, train, and supervise QA/QC personnel to ensure alignment with project quality goals and standards.
- Collaborate with HSE teams to promote a culture of quality and safety on construction sites.
- Provide regular updates and reports on quality performance, issues, and resolution measures to the Project Manager and client representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial building projects, including data centres or other mission‑critical infrastructure, is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, construction quality systems, and M&E installation quality practices.
- Familiar with statutory authority requirements, client specifications, and international codes/standards such as Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage high‑pressure environments and engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification.
- Proficiency with QA/QC digital tools, document control systems, and BIM‑based quality workflows.
- Experience in managing or supporting Tier III/Tier IV Data Centre certification processes.
